We have our youth training at Highwoods Sports Centre CO4 9PU. Parking is free and we will be located on the outside courts. This training takes place between September to June.

We have qualified coaches, along with trainee coaches on site for both Wednesday nights and Saturday morning training. Within the coaches we have our "mini coaches" these are girls that KATS have trained since they were tiny up to where they are now (14-16 years old) and working towards their coaching qualifications with most using volunteering at Kats as part of their Duke of Edinburgh award. Rest assured that there are always at least 2 qualified coaches on site at all times. All over 18's are covered by DBS and there are a number of both adults and young helpers who are also trained first aiders.

Within the school year groups we also like to train the players by their level of ability to ensure that we are not capping their improvement! Training consists of ball skills, throwing, catching, learning the rules, small games, understanding the game and match play.
Training prices are on our plans and pricing page.
An additional fee will apply only if your child is selected for a Kats Youth League Team, you will be notified by mid- October for the start of the league in November
If your daughter is new to netball and wants a taster of what playing netball is all about - just drop Kim an email, the club offers a one session free training to ensure this is the right step for them!
